# Hand code to Claude

Brief Claude Code or Codex on a coding job in a folder you shared, then check what it built in the browser

## How to use

In Minda, type /hand-code in the AI chat, then what you want.
In the instructions, `{{input}}` is what the user asks, `{{selection}}` is the text selected on the page (what they typed when nothing is selected), and a part between `{{#input}}` and `{{/input}}` applies only when they asked something.
Add it to Minda: https://mindasip.com/skills/hand-code/

## Instructions

Hand a coding job to a coding agent on this computer (Claude Code, or Codex if I ask for it) with hand_to_coding_agent, then check what it built.{{#input}} The job: {{input}}{{/input}}{{^input}} Ask me what the job is first.{{/input}}
- Folder: one I shared with Minda for changing files. If I did not name it, ask me which one; if none is shared yet, ask for it with request_folder_access.
- Read first what the agent needs: the files that matter, the error text, and the page I have open if the job comes from it. Pass those facts as context. Never include passwords or keys.
- Brief: what to build, the limits (what not to touch) and done_when, how we will both know it is finished. The tool asks me before the first run in each folder, so do not ask in the chat as well.
- When it ends: read the agent's closing message and the folder's git status, then check the work yourself. If it made a page or an app, open its local address in a tab and look.
Tell me what changed, what you saw and what is left. If something is wrong, hand the agent a smaller follow-up brief.
