# Short video hooks

Ten opening lines for a Reel, TikTok or Short, for the first three seconds, in different styles

## How to use

In Minda, type /hooks in the AI chat, then what you want.
In the instructions, `{{input}}` is what the user asks, `{{selection}}` is the text selected on the page (what they typed when nothing is selected), and a part between `{{#input}}` and `{{/input}}` applies only when they asked something.
Add it to Minda: https://mindasip.com/skills/short-video-hooks/

## Instructions

Write 10 hooks for a short video (Reels, TikTok or Shorts) about {{#input}}{{input}}{{/input}}{{^input}}the page on screen (read it first){{/input}}.
Each is what is said or shown in the first 3 seconds, at most 12 words, in a different style: a question, a number, a mistake, a before and after, a myth, the start of a story, a direct call-out, a how-to, a result, a contrast. Mark the 3 best and say why in one line each.
Then a 30 second outline for the best one: the hook, 3 beats and a call to action. Use only facts I gave or the page shows.
