Minda, Claude and ChatGPT, function by function

Minda Super Intelligence is the personal AI agent app for your computer: its SI agent works in your own signed-in accounts, each workspace kept apart, with any AI model. Claude and ChatGPT are their makers’ assistants. Here is what each one does, side by side, with every Claude and ChatGPT fact linked to its source.

Where each one is ahead

Each app wins somewhere. These are the differences that decide which one fits the work.

Where Minda is ahead

  • Works in the accounts you already use, on your own computer, with each workspace’s sign-ins kept apart, several accounts of one site at once.

  • Any AI model: Minda SI credits, your own OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter or Qwen key, or a model on your own computer.

  • A full browser built in, with vertical tabs, split view, an ad blocker, Tor, a password manager and Chrome extensions.

  • You set how far it goes: Ask before paying, Leave it for my review, rules per site and a computer level from Off to Full control.

  • Chat, mail and social sites in one sidebar, with message cards, reply drafts and a chatbot.

  • A published audit of what leaves your computer, and one switch that keeps the AI on it.

Where Claude is ahead

  • Strong isolation for Cowork: a virtual machine with only the folder you choose mounted, and your credentials kept on your computer. Source

  • Published prompt-injection defences with numbers: classifiers on untrusted content, training and red-teaming. Source

  • Claude Code, an agentic coding tool in the terminal, IDEs and GitHub. Source

  • Artifacts: code, documents and website designs in a window beside the chat. Source

  • No training on Team, Enterprise or API content. Source

Where ChatGPT is ahead

  • Codex: a coding agent steered from the ChatGPT phone app while the code runs on your own computer. Source

  • Event triggers: Work chats and Dots act when something happens, through a plugin’s MCP server. Source

  • One plugin directory for ChatGPT and Codex, with skills and MCP servers. Source

  • Company controls Minda lacks: SSO and SCIM, custom roles and a Compliance Log Platform. Source

  • Sites it creates and deploys, and Spaces of Pages. Source

How this page was made

  • Minda’s column comes from Minda’s own product facts, the same ones the rest of this site uses.
  • Every Claude and ChatGPT cell links to the page of Anthropic or OpenAI it was read from. The lists below give each page and the day it was read.
  • A function its maker’s pages do not list is marked Not listed, never No. Where no page could be read when this page was checked, the cell says Not checked yet and is left out of every count.
  • The page compares what each app can do, not how well. One row can hide a big difference in depth.
  • No prices: plans change often, and each maker’s own pricing page is the place to check them.

Frequently asked questions

Is Minda an alternative to Claude or ChatGPT?

Minda Super Intelligence is the personal AI agent app for your computer. It can use Claude or OpenAI models with your own keys, or Minda SI credits, so it is less a replacement for those models than a place where an agent works for you, in your own signed-in accounts.

Can Minda use Claude and OpenAI models?

Yes, with your own API keys: OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter or Qwen. Chat with your own keys uses no Minda credits. An API key is not the same as a ChatGPT or Claude subscription, which their makers bill separately.

Why do some cells say Not checked yet?

Each Claude and ChatGPT fact on this page links to the page of its maker it was read from, with the date. Where no page of theirs could be read when this page was checked, the cell says so instead of guessing, and it is left out of every count.

Does the Minda agent run on a cloud computer?

No. The SI agent runs on your own computer, in the accounts you already use. Cloud automations run on Minda’s server while your computer is off, on Pro, but they never read signed-in pages.

How current is this page?

Every Claude and ChatGPT fact is dated in the lists of sources, and the page is checked again before it changes. All three apps change often: when a row matters to your decision, open its source.

Minda Super Intelligence is coming soon for Windows.
