Contract reviews and clause lists, with the SI kept on your computer
Minda Super Intelligence is the AI agent app for your computer, and for legal teams it turns a contract into a clause-by-clause risk table, lists clauses across PDFs with page numbers and researches with citations. It is not legal advice: a lawyer checks every output. Keep SI on this computer runs it on a local model. Free to start.

Legal
Today
Contracts read clause by clause, terms copied into a table, data moved by hand between court and client portals.
With Minda
The SI lists the clauses into a table you check, and can stay on your computer if you choose.
Every line of work, before and after Seven jobs, step by step
Social posts, supplier prices, lead lists, customer chats, invoices, price drops and research: each app hop and copy-paste of today, beside what Minda does.

How it works
-
Share only the matter’s folder
Give the SI agent read access to one matter’s folder. Files elsewhere stay out of reach, and a background run cannot ask for more.
-
Choose where the AI runs
Use a cloud AI provider whose terms suit you, or turn on Keep SI on this computer so only a local model answers.
-
Review the draft
You get a risk table, a clause list with pages or a cited memo to check. Ask for drafts and nothing is sent or filed without your OK.
Can AI review a contract clause by clause?
Yes: the Review a contract skill returns a clause-by-clause risk table, the clauses that are missing and the points to negotiate, for a lawyer to check.
Explain a legal clause puts a selected clause in plain words, with what to ask.
Privacy policy check reads a policy or terms page and lists what it lets the company do with your data.
PDFs are read with page marks, so a clause list can give the page of each clause.
Can a law firm use AI without sending client files to a cloud provider?
Yes: Keep SI on this computer refuses every cloud AI provider and Minda’s hosted models before anything is sent, so only a model on your own computer answers.
That model runs in Ollama on your own hardware, at its speed. With a cloud provider instead, what a request uses goes to that provider under its terms. Either way, the SI activity log records the provider, model, host and sizes of each request, never the words, and temporary chats are never saved.
How do lawyers use an AI agent for research?
Deep research plans the searches, reads many public pages and writes a report that cites only what it read, saved as PDF, Word or Slides.
It reads pages found by web search, and a model can still point a citation at the wrong source, so open each cited page before relying on it. Executive brief turns a long judgment or article into a one-minute brief.
Pick the closest fit
Small law firms
Firms of a few lawyers who review contracts and keep each matter apart
- Turns a contract into a risk table with missing clauses and points to negotiate
- Keeps court, registry and client portal sign-ins in separate workspaces
- Writes a client call into a note with decisions and to-dos
Solo practitioners
Lawyers working alone who want a second pair of eyes on drafts
- Puts a clause in plain words you can adapt for a client
- Runs on a local model, so drafts reach no cloud AI provider
- Pulls every task and due date out of a long thread or document
In-house legal teams
Company lawyers who review supplier contracts and policies at volume
- Lists chosen clauses across many supplier PDFs, each with its page
- Checks a vendor’s privacy policy or terms for what they may do with your data
- Shares review workflows an admin approves with the team, on team seats
Paralegals and legal operations
Staff who file, track dates and move data between court and client portals
- Fills repeated portal forms from your case sheet and stops before Submit
- Watches a public court list or registry page and tells you when it changes
- Saves an organisation’s published contact details and social accounts
Filings and hearing dates

What it does not do
Where this version stops, in plain words, so you know before you rely on it.
Minda gives no legal advice; its reviews, clause lists and research are drafts a lawyer checks before use.
Minda holds no compliance certification. Client documents you send to a cloud AI provider go to that provider; Keep SI on this computer, with a local model, is the alternative.
A scanned PDF with no text layer is not read, and text in pictures is read on Windows only.
Frequently asked questions
Does Minda keep a copy of my clients' documents?
Your files stay in their folders; the SI agent reads them where they are. Saved chats and notes sync only if you turn sync on, and Minda’s server can read synced items unless you set your own passphrase. Temporary chats are never saved.
Is the contract review accurate enough to rely on?
Treat it as a first pass, like any AI review. The skill flags risks and missing clauses, and the clause list gives pages so a lawyer can check each one. A model can misread or miss a clause, and Minda gives no legal advice.
How much does Minda cost for a law firm?
Free covers the SI chat, the legal skills, deep research and local models. Pro is $25 a month or $240 a year for the SI agent with no daily limit. Team seats are $30 per member a month, with team policies such as AI kept on members’ computers.
Is Minda an alternative to ChatGPT for confidential client work?
It can be, where confidentiality is the concern: with Keep SI on this computer, only a model on your own computer answers and no cloud AI provider receives the request. Minda reads files where they are, in folders you share, and logs each request without its words. It gives no legal advice; a lawyer checks every output.
Which local models work with Keep SI on this computer?
Models you run through Ollama on your own computer, chosen to fit your hardware; they use no credits. With this setting, speech is heard by Windows’ own recognizer on the computer.
