Get a sourced research report from many pages, ready to share

Minda Super Intelligence writes research reports: in Research mode it splits your question into sub-questions, searches, reads up to 80 pages and numbers every page it read, then you save the report as PDF, Word, slides or a note. It is on every plan. Check the claims that matter: a model can pin a number to the wrong page.

With Minda

4 steps done for you

You do this once

Research the main causes of coral bleaching, with numbered sources, and save it as Word.

  • Research mode splits the question into sub-questions and searches
  • It reads up to 80 pages and checks numbers against each other
  • It numbers every page it read, and builds the source list from pages it opened
  • It saves the report as Word, PDF, slides or a note

Your partRead it, and check the claims that matter

How it works

  1. Ask in Research mode

Press Research beside the chat box, or type /research, and ask. Add tabs, notes or a workspace’s open tabs with @ as first sources.

  2. It reads and cross-checks

It plans 3 to 6 sub-questions, searches, reads many pages in the background and checks numbers against each other.

  3. Read it, then save it

You get a 3-line summary, findings with numbered sources, a comparison table and open questions, ready to save or share.

How do I get a research report with real citations?

Turn on Research in Minda’s chat and ask your question; the report numbers every page it read, and each number links to that page.

Minda builds the Sources list itself from the pages the SI actually opened, not from the model’s memory. A source the model names but never read is removed, with a note saying how many were taken out.

Can I research from my own notes and saved pages?

Yes: pick tabs, notes and highlights with @, and with Keep SI on this computer it researches only from what you saved, using a model on your computer.

Saved pages, notes, highlights and SI chats share one search in Minda, and the web clipper turns any page into a note for later reports.

What formats can a research report be saved in?

PDF, Word and PowerPoint slides from the reply’s Share menu, a note that keeps the sources, or a small offline page.

Research reports4
  • PDF on A4, with the model and the date on the page

  • Word and slides keep the text and structure, not your styling

  • Make a page turns a report’s numbers into a dashboard that runs offline in its own tab

  • A schedule can deliver a fresh report as Word or PDF each run

What it does not do

Where this version stops, in plain words, so you know before you rely on it.

  • A model that numbers sources its own way can point a citation at the wrong page; the Sources list itself holds only pages read.

  • Pages seen only as a video transcript or through Extract data get no citation number.

  • Web search reads DuckDuckGo, Brave and Bing result pages; if all three fail, the report rests on pages it can open directly.

  • Small local models misuse the SI’s tools; a capable cloud or hosted model does this work far better.

Frequently asked questions

How many sources does a research report read?

Up to 80 pages in one research reply, against 30 for a normal answer. When the report cites nothing, its Sources list shows every page read, up to 50.

Does deep research cost credits?

Not with your own OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter or Qwen key, or Ollama on your computer: that is unlimited on every plan. On Minda’s hosted models it uses credits by use; Free includes 100 a month and Pro 2,000, and packs never expire.

Can a research report run every week?

Yes. Schedule it as an SI task from the Tasks panel or the chat, from every 15 minutes to a cron rule, and each run’s report can go to a note, a Word or PDF file, your email or your API. Schedules run while Minda is open.

How is Minda’s deep research different from ChatGPT or Claude?

Minda Super Intelligence’s research runs in its own built-in browser, so it can start from your open tabs, notes and highlights as well as the web. Minda builds the Sources list from pages it actually opened, you can schedule a report to run again, and it works with your own AI keys or a local model.

Are there ready-made research prompts?

Yes. The skill gallery has 36 templates in 9 categories, 9 of them in Research mode, such as Fact-check a claim, Competitor feature matrix and Executive brief. Add one and run it by its slash command.
