A chatbot that answers on Telegram and WhatsApp from your notes

Minda Super Intelligence turns your own Telegram bot, and WhatsApp Web once you opt in, into a chatbot that answers from your instructions and notes. It says it is an automated reply, hands a chat to you when someone asks for a person, and sets each chat to Allow, Ask or Block. It is free, and runs while Minda runs.

How it works

  1. Connect your bot

Create a bot with @BotFather, paste its token in Settings, Chatbot, and pair your own chat with a 6-digit code. For WhatsApp, turn on WhatsApp auto reply there.

  2. Write what it knows

Give it instructions and tag the notes it may answer from: opening hours, prices, delivery areas. A reply with a price, date or link not in them waits for you.

  3. Choose per chat

Allow answers by itself, Ask drafts a reply for you to send, and Block ignores the chat. One switch stops every reply at once.

How do I connect a Telegram bot to Minda?

Connect your own bot from @BotFather in Settings, Chatbot; with Telegram's Chat Automation it can also answer chats in your own account.

Minda checks the bot for new messages from your computer, so there is no server of yours to run. Replies come from the model your SI chat uses, with no tools, so the bot can only answer, never browse or act. With Keep SI on this computer on, a local model writes them.

Does the chatbot tell people it is a bot?

Yes: its first reply in a chat says it is an automated reply from your AI assistant, and it says so again after 24 hours or once a chat is handed back.

It hands a chat to you when someone asks for a person, stays out of a chat for 12 hours after you write there yourself, and stops a fast back-and-forth with another bot. Every reply passes a check first: a link, handle, price, percentage, date or time that your instructions and notes do not contain holds the reply for you to edit, send or dismiss.

How does WhatsApp auto reply work?

It answers new messages in your WhatsApp Web tab with the same rules, but only after you turn on its own switch, which is off by default.

Before it sends, Minda checks that the same chat is still open and its message box is empty, then presses Send once. A newer message, a changed chat or a private window cancels the reply, and messages from before you turned it on are never answered.

What it does not do

Where this version stops, in plain words, so you know before you rely on it.

  • The bot runs on your computer and stops when Minda quits; there is no cloud copy of it yet.

  • On Free, automatic replies share the 10 agent actions a day; Pro has no daily limit.

  • WhatsApp works only through WhatsApp Web; WhatsApp Business, Messenger, Instagram and X are not in this version.

  • A message that arrived while Minda was closed gets a notice for you, not a late reply.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Minda chatbot free?

Yes, on every plan. Each automatic reply counts as an SI agent action, so Free sends up to 10 a day by itself, while drafts you send with your own click are not counted. Pro has no daily limit. Replies written by Minda's hosted models use credits; your own AI keys do not.

Can automations message me through my Telegram bot?

Yes. Pair your own chat with the bot, and an automation can message you there, for example when a watched price drops. Only your paired chat receives them, and what you write to the bot never controls the browser.

Does the chatbot work with WhatsApp Business, Instagram or Messenger?

Not in this version. It answers through your own Telegram bot and, once you turn it on, a WhatsApp Web tab. WhatsApp Business, Messenger, Instagram and X messages are not covered, and there is no cloud copy of the bot yet: it answers while Minda runs on your computer.

What is kept about the people who write to the bot?

Each chat's last 20 messages stay on your computer for 30 days, so the bot has context. Its log keeps no words, only a hash of the chat. Clearing browsing history clears those messages and waiting replies, and the bot's token is never put in a backup or synced.
