With Minda

4 steps done for you

You do this once

Right-click the price and choose Watch this for changes: message me on Telegram if it falls below $180.

  • Minda reads the price on each shop’s page, kept open and awake
  • It tests your rule each time the price changes
  • It messages your Telegram the moment the price drops below $180
  • Asked to buy, it fills the basket and waits for your OK to pay

Your partDecide whether to buy

How it works

  1. Pick the price

Right-click the price or the stock line and choose Watch this for changes. The pointer picks exactly that element.

  2. Set the rule

If it falls below your number or reads In stock, message yourself; otherwise do something else, or nothing.

  3. Get told, then act

A card shows in Minda and your message goes out. Each run is logged, and a rule pauses between runs within an hourly limit.

How do I monitor competitor prices automatically?

Make a scrape job from the competitor’s product list, or start from the Track a price every hour template, and Minda compares each run with the last.

A changed run says what moved, such as “Price: 101.20 → 102.50”, and sends the rows to an Excel or CSV file, a note, your API or an email. A quiet run sends nothing unless you ask for every run. A scrape job reads the page itself, so it uses no SI model and no credits.

How do I get an alert when an item is back in stock?

Watch the stock line with an automation, and when it appears or changes Minda tests your condition and messages you.

The trigger fires when the watched thing appears, changes or disappears, with its text and the number in it, so a rule can test for “In stock” or a number under your limit. The first reading is the starting point: a page opening is never news.

How do price alerts reach me?

Where you choose: a card in Minda with a Windows notification, an email, a message to your own Telegram bot, WhatsApp or a POST to your API.

Price monitoring3
  • Telegram: connect a bot from @BotFather once and pair it, and rules can write to you

  • Email: your own SMTP account, such as Gmail or Outlook with an app password

  • WhatsApp: needs a WhatsApp Business number on Meta’s Cloud API, not a personal one

Can Minda watch prices while my computer is off?

Yes, for public pages: a cloud automation runs on Minda’s server every 15 minutes or more and tells you in Minda, by email or at your webhook.

Cloud automations never read pages you are signed in to, so a price behind a log-in needs Minda open on your computer. Pro includes 20 cloud automations.

What it does not do

Where this version stops, in plain words, so you know before you rely on it.

  • A watched price needs its page open in a tab, which Minda keeps awake; at most 20 page watches are on at once.

  • Watches and scrape jobs on your computer run only while Minda is open.

  • The picker’s selectors are guesses at what stays stable: a site that renames its page parts breaks a watch until you pick again.

  • Minda checks what the site shows a visitor or your sign-in; you are responsible for the site’s terms on automated checks.

Frequently asked questions

Does price monitoring use credits?

Not for watches and scrape jobs: they read the page themselves, with no model. An SI task that writes up what changed uses your model, free with your own key or a local model, or credits on Minda’s hosted models (100 a month on Free).

How often can Minda check a price?

A watched element on an open page is read every 3 seconds. Scheduled scrape jobs and SI checks run from every 15 minutes to a cron rule of your own, and cloud web checks every 15 minutes or more.

Can it track prices across many products at once?

Yes. A scrape job reads a whole product list, follows up to 20 next pages and keeps up to 5,000 rows a run, then reports only what changed. For a few single items, one watch per item reads each price directly.

Can Minda buy when the price drops?

Only with your OK. The SI agent can fill a basket, but Ask before paying is on by default: a press that pays or places an order waits for you, and in a scheduled run an unanswered wait ends as a no.
