Create a bot with @BotFather, paste its token in Settings, Chatbot, and write what it may answer: hours, prices, links and tone.

How do I set up an AI auto reply on Telegram?
Make a bot with Telegram’s @BotFather, connect its token in Minda’s Settings, Chatbot, and give it instructions and notes to answer from.
With Telegram’s Chat Automation, the same bot can also answer chats in your own Telegram account. A dry run shows the reply it would send to a test message before anything goes out, and new chats start at Ask, so nothing is sent by itself until you allow it.
Can it auto reply on WhatsApp?
Yes, through WhatsApp Web: turn on WhatsApp auto reply in Settings, Chatbot, Channels, and the bot answers new messages in a WhatsApp Web tab you keep open.
Before it sends, it checks it is still in the chat the message came from and that the message box is empty, and it never answers messages from before you turned it on. It is not the WhatsApp Business API, and WhatsApp’s own terms on automated messages are yours to follow.
How does the chatbot avoid saying something wrong?
A reply that names a link, price, date or time missing from your instructions and notes waits for you instead of going out.
It reads up to 6,000 characters of your tagged notes as its knowledge

Frequently asked questions
Does the chatbot tell people it is not a person?
Yes. At first contact, after a day without messages and after you hand a chat back, its reply opens with a notice such as “Automated reply from Harbor Yoga’s AI assistant.” Asked for a person, in English, Chinese or Malay, it hands the chat to you.
Which model writes the replies?
The one you choose for the bot, or your chat’s model: Minda’s hosted models on credits, your own OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter or Qwen key, or Ollama on your computer. With your own key or a local model, replies use no credits.
Where are my customers’ messages kept?
On your computer. Minda keeps up to 500 chats and each chat’s last 20 messages for 30 days, and its log records no words. The model you pick reads each message in order to answer it.
What happens to messages while my computer is off?
They wait on Telegram. When Minda starts again, messages up to 15 minutes old are answered; older ones get one notice to you and no automatic reply. Background mode keeps the bot answering with every Minda window closed.
