What Minda sends
Minda's servers receive browsing-related data only through features you turn on or use: sync, hosted SI (the pages you add to a chat), teams and community skills. The waitlist on this site keeps only the email you enter and the page you sent it from, to tell you when Minda is ready: it is deleted 90 days after that email, or 30 days after you unsubscribe with the link every email carries.
When it sends it
SI requests go to the provider you pick, or to Minda's hosted SI, and only when you use SI. Update checks send the version and system type, with no cookie, account or install ID.
Where it goes
Synced items are sealed on your computer with AES-256-GCM first. Sync is end to end only with your own passphrase; by default Minda's server holds the key.
Your controls
- Keep SI on this computer, or turn built-in SI off
- Read the SI activity log, which never keeps the words
- Forget data for one site, a workspace or everything
