Tell me when my repo’s stars move

Every 6 hours Minda’s cloud reads the star count of your repo and emails you when the number changes. It is a ready-made workflow in Minda Super Intelligence, and you can change any step before you save it. It runs on Minda's cloud under your Minda account, so your computer can be off. It works with GitHub and Gmail.

You sign in to your Minda account, and the template opens as a new workflow.

What you get

  • Checks every 6 hours The cloud reads the star count from the repo’s address every 6 hours and sees if it changed.

  • An email with both numbers When the count changes you get an email with the new number, the old one and the address.

  • A notice in Minda too The same change also posts a notice in Minda with the same words.

  • Checks while you are away It runs on Minda’s cloud, so it keeps checking when your computer is off.

Why use this?

GitHub shares a repo’s star count at a public address, and this rule reads that number every 6 hours. When it changes you get an email with the new count and the old one. It runs on Minda’s cloud, so your computer can be off.
