What you get
Log it by chatting You message your bot a line that starts with spent, and that is all you have to do.
Amount, item and category Your AI pulls out the amount, what it was for and a category: food, transport, home, work or other.
Only your own messages The rule checks the sender you fill in, so messages from other people to your bot are ignored.
Telegram confirms it Your Telegram bot writes back to you with the word Logged and the line it saved.
Why use this?
You write one short message to your bot, and your AI splits it into the amount, the item and a category. A note keeps the line, and your Telegram bot writes back to confirm it.

Frequently asked questions
What do I write to my bot?
Start the message with the word spent, then the amount and what it was for. Messages that do not start with spent are ignored.
What do I fill in?
The sender, so the rule only reacts to your messages. A Telegram bot has to be connected in Settings under Chatbot too, since the confirmation goes there.
Where is the expense saved?
As a note in your Notes in Minda. The title starts with Expense and the AI’s line, and the body holds your original message.
Does it spend or move any money?
No. It writes down what you say you spent. It never pays, buys or moves money.
Does Minda need to be open?
Yes. It runs on your computer, so Minda has to be open to read your bot’s messages.
