Rank a folder of resumes against my rubric

Minda scores every resume in a folder against your job description and rubric, then saves the ranking as an .xlsx file. It is a ready-made task for the SI agent in Minda Super Intelligence. It runs when you start it. It works with Excel.

In Minda: Tasks → New → Browse tasks → Rank a folder of resumes against my rubric. Minda Super Intelligence for Windows is coming soon.

What you get

  • A score with its evidence Each criterion gets a score and the resume line that supports it, plus a total, strengths and gaps.

  • Questions for the screening call For each candidate it lists what to verify in a screening call, and it ends with the top 5 and one interview question for each.

  • Scored on the resume only It never infers age, gender, ethnicity, health or family status, and it ignores names, photos and addresses when scoring.

  • No emails, no rejections It never emails or rejects anyone, and a resume it cannot read is listed instead of skipped silently.

Why use this?

Minda reads each resume in full and scores it against your job description, criteria and weights, so every candidate is measured the same way. The ranking is sorted by total and saved as an .xlsx file.

The full prompt

This is what the SI agent is asked to do. The parts in brackets are what you fill in.

Rank the resumes in [folder on this computer] against the job description [job description file or link] and my rubric: [criteria and weights, e.g. experience 30, skills 30, education 15]. Read each resume in full. For each candidate: a score per criterion with the resume line that supports it, a total, strengths, gaps, and what to verify in a screening call. Rules: score only what the resume shows; never infer age, gender, ethnicity, health or family status, and ignore names, photos and addresses when scoring; if a resume can't be read, list it instead of skipping it silently. Save the ranking as [file name].xlsx, sorted by total. Never email or reject anyone. Finish with the top [5] and one interview question for each.

Who is it for?

  • Recruiters with a full folder You have a folder of resumes and want a ranked list before the first screening call.

  • Founders hiring without a recruiter You are reading the resumes yourself and want each score tied to the line that supports it.
