Check my nightly backups and tell me only when one fails
Minda reads your backup dashboard each morning and tells you only when a backup failed, is missing or is out of date. It is a ready-made task for the SI agent in Minda Super Intelligence. It runs daily at 7am. You fill in [backup dashboard or status page link] and [databases or systems to check].
In Minda: Tasks → New → Browse tasks → Check my nightly backups and tell me only when one fails. Minda Super Intelligence for Windows is coming soon.
- Monitoring
- The web
- Open [backup dashboard or status page link] in…
- Flag a backup that failed, one with no result…
- If a page needs me to sign in or will not load,…
- Finish with each problem
What you get
Reads the real result It opens your backup page in your signed-in tab and reads status, times, size and any error for each system.
Flags what matters It flags a backup that failed, has no result for last night, is older than the hours you set or shrank a lot.
Quiet when all is well When every backup is fine you get one line with the count checked, and nothing else.
Changes nothing It never starts, retries or restores a backup and never changes a schedule or a setting.
Why use this?
Backups fail quietly, and the first sign is often the day you need one. Minda checks the page every morning and speaks up only when something is wrong, with the system, the time and the link.

The full prompt
This is what the SI agent is asked to do. The parts in brackets are what you fill in.
Every morning, check the backups from last night and tell me only when something is wrong. Open [backup dashboard or status page link] in my signed-in tab and read the latest result for each of [databases or systems to check]: status, start and finish time, size and any error text. Flag a backup that failed, one with no result for last night, one older than [26] hours, and one whose size is under [50] percent of the one before. If a page needs me to sign in or will not load, say so. Rules: when every backup is fine, give one line with the count checked and stop; read results from the page only; never start, retry, restore or change a backup, a schedule or a setting. Finish with each problem: the system, what you saw, when it happened and the link.
Who is it for?
Engineers on call You own the databases and want to hear about a failed backup before anyone else does.
Small business owners You rely on a hosted service and want a morning check without opening its page.
IT and operations leads You answer for several systems and want to see at once which backup needs a person.
Frequently asked questions
What does it read?
The backup dashboard or status page you link, in your signed-in tab. It reads the status, times, size and any error text for each system you list.
What counts as a problem?
A backup that failed, one with no result for last night, one older than your limit in hours, or one much smaller than the one before.
Can it fix a failed backup?
No. It never starts, retries or restores anything, and never changes a schedule or a setting. It only tells you what it saw.
What if the page needs me to sign in?
It says so instead of guessing. You sign in once in your tab, and the next run reads the page as normal.
When does it run?
Saved as a workflow, it runs every day at 7am, and you can change the time. You can also start it yourself.
