Switching to Minda: what comes over, what stays behind, and why
Moving to Minda Super Intelligence takes one import: bookmarks, history, passwords, sign-ins, extensions and open tabs come over from Chrome, Edge, Firefox and more, and your ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini chats and memory can follow. These pages walk through each move, what stays behind, and how Minda compares with the apps you use now.

Questions
Do my passwords come over?
Most do, with limits: Chrome 127 and later and current Edge lock most passwords to themselves, and Firefox passwords are not read (a CSV export works). Bookmarks, history, sign-ins, extensions and open tabs come over.
Can I bring my ChatGPT or Claude history?
Yes. ChatGPT and Claude exports and Gemini’s Google Takeout become chats in History, up to 2,000 new chats per import, kept on the computer they were imported on. What those AIs know about you comes over through a prompt you copy and an answer you paste.
Does Minda run my Chrome extensions?
Many Chrome extensions work, not every one; the switching guides say which kinds to expect trouble from and what to use instead.
Move in one import
