Does the voice assistant listen all the time?
There is no on-device wake word. A 16 kHz clip of at most 12 seconds is sent for transcription, to OpenAI with your key or to Minda’s hosted SI on your credits. With Keep SI on this computer, Windows’ own recognizer hears on the computer.
Can Minda make a call for me?
Yes, on WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Instagram and TikTok web calls. It says first that it is an AI calling for you, works through your brief, answers only from facts you gave it, and never agrees to a payment.
Is any of this extra?
The voice assistant and single calls are on every plan, on Minda AI credits or your own OpenAI key. Only call lists that dial leads one by one need the Minda Calls add-on; Max includes it.
